I've been playing regularly now for over a year and been playing daily for about 10 months. I play in the Monday APA league at Billiard Palace where I'm a SL 3 on 8 ball and SL 4 on 9 ball (since January). I play the weekly 9 ball tournament at Dragon Horn regularly, the quarterly/monthly 8 ball tournament at Louie's, and played my first 8 ball tournament at the VFW on Girard tonight. I prefer VNEA 8 ball rules over APA as I really hate losing/winning because of slop. 8 ball is a called shot game imo, while I know 9 ball is a little bit looser. My biggest weakness is my mental game as when I play outside of tournaments/leagues I'm a much better player so really working on figuring out what is happening to me mentally. I practice on my lunch hour and for a couple of hours on Fridays and then play M (APA league, T-W with friends (which I'd rearrange if I joined a Wednesday night team). Outside of pool, I'm a writer, a college administrator and a teacher. Very easy going and drama free. I like people and getting to know them and their stories.

I currently play on Big Ballers team but they informed me that they are goign to sit me to play a new player to qualify to Vegas. I am looking for a team that will play me. I joined League to play pool not sit on the bench. I would prefer to play every week.

i would prefer to play each week of the summer session .. my hope is to have as many weeks possible, in the hope that i can qualify for nationals by playing only the remainder of weeks nessesary during next fall .. i live deep in the moutains east of abq .. due to the weather conditions in winter, the fall leagues are problematic for me .. i hope that there is a team captain willing to help with this .. i will play hard, shoot straight and will win my fair share of games

I've played APA as well as VNEA OUT OF POST 49 with shane Jorgensen for a couple of seasons. Not sure what rank I was before the change.of the ranking system.I believe I was AAA .
